During my first year at University I acquired an entirely different perspective on what art was, how to make it and even why to make it. I think the crucial factor here was that I learned what a concept was and how to apply one. After several months of study I eventually created a latex installation piece which was conceptually backed by research into a minor mental health disease named Adjustment Disorder.
