The Pillars were created as part of commission to be displayed in Yorkshire throughout May and June 2020 however the Covid-19 lock-down protocols unfortunately stopped the exhibition going ahead.

These particular sculptures were an experiment to new materials and surfaces. I wanted to try and create free standing sculptures which offered me the ability to build in several directions at once; which is why, for the first time, I introduced plinths. They were successful in many regards and opened my eyes to even more possibilities to use in the future.
